Voice Acting Arena

Hey everyone! We’re launching Voice Acting Arena with LAION x TTS Arena, and we’d love your help trying it out 🙂

You’ll hear two anonymous AI performances of the same scene and script, then compare them on overall acting, how well they follow the direction, and how genuine they feel. Some tasks also include laughter, gasps, sobs, and other vocal reactions.

The goal is to build an ongoing evaluation of voice acting models: not just whether a voice sounds realistic, but whether it can deliver a convincing performance. Your comparisons will help us understand where the models succeed and struggle, and contribute to our upcoming research.

If you have a few minutes, put on headphones and try a few matchups. No technical knowledge needed - just read the scene and listen carefully. Feedback on the arena itself is welcome too!
